As the 'Tree'....

Hi, and welcome to my website!

A little bit about me. . .

I've been acting since the tender age of 4 where I debuted as a 'Tree' somewhere in New Zealand ’s suburbia.  It was then I abandoned my ambition of being a Fairy, and have followed my passion for acting and performing ever since.

It has lead me throughout New Zealand, touring nationally with Theatr e groups as a child, and being honoured to perform as "Jane Banks" in the first theatrical production of "Mary Poppins" at the Christchurch Theatre Royal back in 1992.

My family and I moved to Sydney so that I could attend the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. I was a little disappointed once I heard I still had to do maths and sport, but grinned and beared it, as the Acting training I recieved there was fantastic. During this time I consistently worked, mainly in theatre both within the school, and also professional productions outside, including "The Oracle".   I also kept myself busy with TV work, Short Films and Commercials.

Once graduating I had a stint in London for a year, finding myself singing in an extraordinary cyber punk band!   I also began performing at spoken word nights.

I then came back to Sydney where I have been working very hard ever since.

I have spent the last 8 years concentrating on Film & Television, and getting as much experience in both mediums as I can.  Everything from low budget short films, to low budget feature films and television! :)

Sometime in 2003 it occurred to me the best way to be cast in great films was for me to Produce them myself!  So I have also been working hard as a Film Producer, and now have a great Production Company "Pogman Productions".
Check out my PRODUCER page for more info.

Late 2007 I was lucky enough to be taken on by Acting Agent Sherin Rickards Management, check out her here: www.sherinrickards.com.au

2009 has been a busy year for me so far, working on indie feature film "Dead Down Under", 4 short films so far, 2 corporate videos and a TVC.

I have also been training with Anthony Wong in the Chubbuck Technique which is inspiring and amazing and life changing!
